What We Do
Since CTBC Museum opened in 2015, artgital has created and maintained multiple interactive experiences for the space. This time, Artgital upgraded the VR innovation experience zone with a 360-degree real-scene tour based on the aviation-themed Qingpu branch. Adults and children could become CTBC Staff for a Day and Young Mission Agents, using VR interaction to learn financial knowledge through entertainment and deepen their understanding and affinity for the brand through hands-on participation.
Ten Years of CTBC Museum, Technical Breakthroughs and Upgrades
Since CTBC Museum was founded in 2015, artgital has used innovative technology to build interactive content such as the Smile Photo Booth, Digital Film Wall, and VR Digital Branch Innovation Zone. These experiences have accumulated more than 500,000 visits and successfully brought the public closer to financial knowledge.

This VR innovation zone upgrade renewed not only the hardware, but also the experience content and narrative structure. Using the aviation-themed Qingpu branch as the setting, artgital combined 360-degree photography with VR technology, allowing visitors to become pilots and complete missions from a first-person perspective. Through immersive interaction, they explored the space and naturally absorbed financial knowledge, creating an experience that integrated education and entertainment.

SteamVR Virtual Environment
The project used SteamVR to build a stable VR operating environment. Through SDK integration, head rotation and viewing direction data were received in real time to keep interaction smooth and natural. For the content, the team filmed the Qingpu branch in 360 degrees, fully presenting the actual space so visitors could freely explore every corner of the branch.

The system also introduced a Directional Audio Guidance System, using sound guidance and real-time feedback to strengthen presence. In addition, dual-view real-time output displayed the VR experience to nearby audiences at the same time, improving both communication efficiency and viewing appeal.

CTBC Staff for a Day
Visitors were invited to become frontline CTBC bank staff and experience realistic service scenarios, such as stopping fraud and parent-child financial service: savings diary. Guided step by step by mascot Little B, both adults and children could clearly understand the challenges bank staff may face in daily service and the appropriate responses to take, building a correct understanding of financial services.

During the experience, participants not only felt the professionalism and care of CTBC staff, but also gradually built trust and affinity for the brand through interaction and understanding. Financial education was naturally integrated into a scenario-based experience.
Young Mission Agent
The Young Mission Agent experience included three levels that guided participants through different corners of the Qingpu branch. They completed challenges such as Find Where the Strange Sound Comes From, Capture Arashiyama Piggy, and Fraud Prevention Knowledge Quiz. Through task-based design, visitors learned about the video-service counter, VIP Lounge financial consultation area, and banking hall counters.

Through playful interaction, participants experienced the distinctive aviation-city atmosphere of the Qingpu branch and naturally understood how CTBC uses diverse and thoughtful services to meet the financial needs of different groups. Learning and experience were woven together.
Distinctive UGC as the Starting Point of Brand Affinity
In the two flight missions, CTBC Staff for a Day and Young Mission Agent, coins earned by participants could be accumulated and converted into a personal virtual bank savings account. Through different levels of UGC feedback, the system recognized and encouraged children's performance during missions, allowing positive savings concepts to grow naturally through play and achievement.

By building positive financial experiences from an early age, the project planted affinity and trust for the brand and prepared children for future financial needs. When they grow older and need to open an account, they can smoothly connect with CTBC's parent-child financial services, leaving a personal and meaningful record for the first stage of their financial journey.

Senior Health Industry Expo, Across Generations
The upgraded VR innovation experience zone received strong internal recognition from the brand and was later moved to the 2026 Senior Health Industry Expo as a core experience within the brand booth. This showed the inclusiveness and educational value of the experience design across age groups, leaving visitors with a clear and memorable interactive impression of the brand.
