A treadmill, real New York route footage, and a marathon that belongs to every runner.
New York City Run Journey at Taipei Expo Park connected a treadmill with real New York City Marathon route footage. As visitors ran, the video playback speed changed according to the treadmill speed, creating an immersive sense of running through New York.
Five different New York routes appeared at random, offering varied scenery each time. At the end of the run, each participant received a personal completion record.
Even if the experience lasted only a few minutes, the message remained clear: as long as you run, it is your marathon. The activation introduced the Fresh Foam X 1080 v13 and invited visitors to RUN YOUR WAY from March 15 to March 17, 2024.
