What We Do
Create your own interstellar companion and step into the endless fun of an alien universe.
As part of Kuang San SOGO Department Store's Water Curtain Plaza renovation in Taichung, PLAY+ Interactive Plaza: Roaming Starland combined interactive technology with an immersive L-shaped giant screen. Visitors could step into a virtual universe where every footstep triggered a surprise.
By scanning a QR Code, visitors entered their name and selected accessories to create a personal interstellar companion. With a simple upward swipe, the companion appeared on the giant screen in front of them.
This co-creation mechanism allowed visitor-generated content to become part of Starland and kept the universe continuously refreshed. The experience was installed across the PLAY+ Interactive Plaza on the 14th to 16th floors of Kuang San SOGO Department Store.
