Fly with Love: Transforming ALS into Action (Digital Art Exhibition)
What We Do
To mark the 25th anniversary of the ALS Association, a digital art exhibition was held to offer an immersive interactive experience. This exhibition not only deepens the public's understanding of ALS but also showcases innovative concepts in assistive technology inspired by the challenges of the disease.
The exhibition is divided into four distinct zones:
Zone A: Get to Know Me
Zone B: Unspoken Loss
Zone C: Technology: Creating the Future
Zone D: Association Overview & Moving Blessings
【Zone A: Get to Know Me】
Utilizes mirror screens as interactive installations. By shifting between first-person and second-person perspectives through text-based chats, visitors can deeply resonate with the personal journeys of patients and their families, gaining a profound understanding of ALS.
【Zone B: Unspoken Loss】
Features real-time generative audio interactions that simulate the speech difficulties faced by patients due to muscle degeneration. This allows the public to experience firsthand that the impact of the disease goes far beyond physical limitations, touching upon a deeper sense of inner loss.
Through the journey from Zone A Get to Know Me to Zone B Unspoken Loss, visitors can truly understand and feel the progression of ALS.
【Zone C: Technology: Creating the Future】
Presents concepts of tech-assisted design on minimalist white showcases, allowing the audience to witness the future technologies developed in response to ALS.
【Zone D: Association Overview & Moving Blessings】
Captures the heartwarming milestones of the ALS Association over the past 25 years. Visitors are invited to pick themed blessing cards, write down their reflections, and plant the seeds of love.
